Privacy and Notification Settings
You control which emails G1 Goldmine sends you from the My Account page. Each category is a separate toggle, so you can keep the ones you want and turn off the rest.
Where to find it
- Log in and click your avatar at the top right of any page.
- Select My Account.
- Click the Notifications tab, or scroll to the Notifications section.
Toggle any category on or off. Changes apply immediately.
What each setting controls
Product Announcements. New features and changes to the platform. Worth keeping on if you use the analysis tools regularly, since it is how you learn what has been added.
News and Breeding Information. Industry news and breeding content.
Announcements from G1 Goldmine and Farms. Messages from G1 Goldmine and from stud farms listed on the platform.
Special Offers and Promotions. Pricing offers and promotional messages.
Direct Messaging. Messages sent to you directly rather than as part of a mailing.
What you will still receive
These toggles control marketing and informational email. They do not switch off email relating to your account itself, such as invoices, payment receipts, password and email verification, or notices about your membership.
That is deliberate. Those messages carry information you need, and turning them off would mean missing a failed payment or a renewal.
Contact from stud farms
If you have used Contact Farm to enquire about a stallion, the farm may reply to you directly. That is a response to your own enquiry rather than a mailing, so consider it before switching off messages from farms.
