Match Offers: service fee offers for matched mares
A Match Offer is a service fee discount that a stud farm sets on a stallion it promotes on G1 Goldmine. The offer applies only to mares whose pedigree is a Perfect Match or a 20/20 Match with that stallion.

How a Match Offer appears
Search a mare in Stallion Match. Each stallion in the results is tagged with its match type for that mare. If a result is a Perfect Match or 20/20 Match and the farm has set a Match Offer on that stallion, the result shows the offer (for example, a percentage off the stallion’s advertised fee) and a button labelled Enquire about Special Offer.
The button does not appear on results that are not a Perfect Match or 20/20 Match, or on stallions without an active offer.
What happens when you enquire
- Click Enquire about Special Offer on the matched result.
- Complete the enquiry form. Your mare’s name and the match type are included automatically.
- The enquiry is sent to the stud farm. The farm contacts you directly to confirm terms and the booking.
G1 Goldmine does not process the booking or the payment. The farm sets the offer, confirms eligibility and handles the booking.

Who can see Match Offers
Match Offers are visible on every membership, including Free, Trial, Plus and Pro. Stallion Match search allowances for each membership still apply.
How offers are set
- Offers are set per stallion by the farm.
- An offer can be a percentage of the service fee or a fixed amount.
- A farm can set a different offer for a Perfect Match and a 20/20 Match, or the same offer for both.
- An offer is live only while the stallion’s promotion on G1 Goldmine is active. When the promotion ends, the button no longer appears.
What a match means
A Perfect Match and a 20/20 Match describe pedigree patterns. The Perfect Match pattern appears in the pedigrees of 24% of stakes winners and 3% of underperforming horses, based on Australian horses since 2021. The 20/20 Match pattern appears 2.3 times more often in stakes winners’ pedigrees. These figures describe how often each pattern appears in a group of horses. They do not describe the likelihood of any individual mating producing a stakes winner. See Perfect Match and 20/20 Match.
